18/07/10A relaxing day at The Cocker Spaniel Club Championship Show today. We decided to just one dog today, Ronnie and he was placed 1st in class. It was nice to catch up with friends and Quintavia Cocker owners who came along for the day.
27/06/10We thought we would share this photo of a lovely dog puppy from Quintavia Stop And Stare JW first litter. The litter is a quality litter of very short, compact puppies with good neck and shoulders, good substance, good bone, level toplines and sweet temperament, just like Dad !
26/06/10A scorching hot day today at Blackpool Championship show. The dog's had a good day under breed specialist Reg Bunting. Ronnie was 1st again, Boo 4th and Poppy attended her first championship show since last summer and was a very respectable 2nd which we were delighted with. 21/06/10We had a lovely weekend in Scotland for Border Union Championship show. We have never travelled to Scotland for a show before and we were greeted by some spectacular scenery. The weather was very hot and sunny and we had a great time. Dogs were judged by breed specialist Anne Webster and we were delighted with Ronnie's first place in his class and Ribbon's 4th place. We stopped for a lovely long walk after the show before a meal and our dog's were beautifully behaved throughout. Chelsea and I had a lovely break and I'm sure we will make the journey north again!
12/06/10A lovely drive to Cricklade today for West Of England Cocker Spaniel Club Open Show. Poppy, Penny and Boo were all placed 2nd in their classes, but the best part of the day was meeting up with Barbara who owns Alice, Quintavia Star Stopper and Quintavia Stars In Her Eyes JW Mom. Alice is looking great at 71/2 yrs old and we were reminded just how much Poppy and Alice look alike. Poppy is on the left of the photo and Alice on the right. Thank You Barbara and family for loving Alice and looking after her so well x
06/06/10We had a lovely afternoon at Crewe and District open show today under breed specialist Coral Morris. We decided to just take Penny today ( Quintavia Clementine ) and she really enjoyed herself ! We were really pleased with Penny's first place in a class of nine lovely puppies and her Best Puppy in Breed award and we were delighted when she was placed 1st in the gundog group! Penny was handled today by Chelsea who did a great job as always, well done girls xx We have had some lovely comments about Penny and her happy nature and constantly wagging tail and we look forward to showing her over the summer. 04/06/10A scorching hot day today at Southen Counties Championship Show. Ronnie and Ribbon attended today and both were placed. Ronnie was placed first in his class which we were delighted with. It was too hot to take any pictures at the show but we took this photo when we got home.

30/05/10We had a lovely day at Coventry Cocker Spaniel Club Open Show today. The weather was beautiful for a change, sunny most of the day with the odd sharp breeze but great to be outside with the dogs and lovely to see them on the grass. There was a lovely relaxed, atmosphere, rather like a garden party. Our dogs all had a good day...Ronnie was placed first in his class, Boo 2nd and our new baby Quintavia Clementine ( Quintavia Show Stopper x Lawnswae Whisper ) was placed 2nd in a quality class of 15 puppies! so we were really pleased. Little Penny enjoyed herself immensely and moved beautifully for Chelsea who showed her today. Well Done Chel and Penny x Many Thanks To today's judge Sheila Ewen and the committee for a lovely day.

15/05/10Another lovely day for us again today at South Wales and Mon Cocker Spaniel Club Open Show. Quintavia Rock N Rose was Best In Show again! Congratulations to Pat with Truly who was Reserve Best in Show and Best Puppy in Show.
03/05/10Congratulations to Sheena and her Quintavia Show Stopper son Louis who had a good day showing at their local agricultural show today. Louis was 1st in his class, Best of Breed and Group 3. Louis is only just out of puppy so a lovely day for them them both, Well Done !
01/05/10We had a lovely drive down to Tiverton in Devon today for Devon and Cornwall Cocker Spaniel Club open show and what a fantastic day we had ! Naughty Boo ( Quintavia Rock N Rose) was Best In Show! Ronnie ( Quintavia Stop And Stare ) was Best Puppy In Show and Stan ( Quintavia Quantum Leap ) was Best Veteran In Show ! A first for us to take all top awards with our dogs. Many, Many Thanks to today's judge Denise Fox for a day we will never forget. Congratulations to Sheena Lill for her Reserve Best In Show and Best Opposite Sex award with Luke and her two first places with her lovely Ringo son Louis. Unfortunately we didn't have a handler for Stan so he doesn't appear in the BIS photo but we took a photo of him after the show.
25/04/10We attended the Solid Colour Cocker Spaniel Club Open Show today, a lovely day although a little strange as we only had one dog to show. Boo was first in the special beginners class which was held in memory of Maurice Chivers and we were awarded a lovely plaque to keep. Many Thanks to today's judge Ian Scott and Mrs Chivers for the lovely plaque.
14/04/10Exciting news form the kennel club today... Ronnie is now officially Quintavia Stop And Stare JW! Huge well done to Chelsea and Ronnie for all your success over the last 4 months and Ronnie's 5 consecutive Best Puppy Dog awards and 3 Best Puppy in show awards at championship show level. Ronnie is the second generation owned, bred and shown solely by Chelsea.
10/04/10Chelsea was judging Cocker Spaniels today for Bolsover and District Canine Society and she really enjoyed her 2nd appointment. Thank You to the committee for their invitation and to the exhibitors for their kind comments to Chelsea after judging about the gentle way in which she handled their dogs. We decided to make the most of the weekend and stayed overnight. We had a lovely afternoon in Lincoln with lunch by the river and a girlie night at our hotel. Thanks for a lovely weekend Chelsea and Thanks to my lovely husband who treated us and looked after the dogs x
03/04/10Another good day for Ronnie and Chelsea today at Midland Cocker Spaniel Club Championship Show. Ronnie was placed first in his two classes and was Best Puppy Dog, he was later declared Reserve Best Puppy in Show. Boo and Ribbon were placed 2nd in their classes. Many Thanks to today's judges and the committee for their generous prizes. ![]() 04/04/10We were showing at Newcastle ( Staffs ) Open show today and what a lovely day we had! Ronnie was first in his class and Best Puppy In Breed, this win gained Ronnie his last open show point needed to claim his Junior Warrant title! quite an achievement for a dog of just 10 months of age! Ronnie was later 2nd in the Group. Many Thanks to April Murray who judged cockers today and Adam Murray who judged the group and MANY, MANY Thanks to all judges that have appreciated Ronnie over the last four months. Thanks also to our friends at today's show for their congratulations and sharing the wine and cake and all friends and Quintavia owners that have sent cards and their congratulations over the last few months. ![]() We received news today of Quintavia Star Stoppers latest litter of puppies bred by a friend of mine....ELEVEN bonny puppies! 5 chocolate Roan, 3 Orange Roan and 3 Blue Roan. So it seems Sid continues to produce predominantly Chocolate and Orange Roan puppies... 05/04/10Thought I would share this photo of the latest Quintavia Show Stopper puppy.....typical of the type and quality that he continues to produce even at 8 years of age!! ![]() 21/03/10Well Ronnie and Chelsea continue their recent run of luck at shows with another Best Puppy Dog and Best Puppy in Show award at North Of England Cocker Spaniel Club Championship Show today!! We are delighted with this young dog's show success to date and his attitude to showing, he never fails to give his best and he enjoys every minute. Well done Chelsea and Ronnie x Boo was also placed first in her class today and Ribbon and Stan were both placed 3rd. Many Thanks to todays judges, especially Meg Allard for Ronnie's Best Puppy Dog award. Thanks also to the committee for their generous sponsorship. 14/03/10Wow what a fantastic day we had today at Crufts! Chelsea's dog Ronnie was placed 1st in his class and was Best Puppy Dog. He later challenged the Best Puppy Bitch and was declared Best Puppy In Breed! What an achievement for this lovely boy at just 10 months of age ! Huge well done to Chelsea, I am so proud of you and Ronnie and your show success over the last 4 months x Many Thanks to fellow exhibitors for your good wishes and kind words and our friends, family and Quintavia Cocker owners for your telephone calls, emails and text messages all of which are very much appreciated. We were delighted to see two Show Stopper kid's in the final shortlist in the puppy dog class, Chavez Showman and Rosbercon Rigadoon. Chavez Showman was placed 4th, so a good day for our breeding. Many Congratulations to Jean and Chavez Royal Liason on winning the CC. We were delighted to see Quintavia Phoebe and Quintavia sugar Palm at Syajirao in the ring today and we thank their owners David and Judith Marsh for owning, loving and showing their Quintavia Girls with such passion. ![]() 11/03/10Well not long now till " The " show of the year, Crufts. The dogs are nearly ready, thankfully the weather is being kind to us for a change which makes it much easier to keep the dogs clean after their bath's, we will be busy over the next two days adding the finishing touches to the dogs we have decided to show which are Ribbon, Ronnie, Sid and Stan. We are really looking forward to catching up with friends and Quintavia Cocker owners so come and say Hello ! Naughty Boo continues to find it a struggle to walk in a coordinated manner...spinning in circles and running at full speed is much more to her liking but she too managed a first place!
Ronnie 28/02/10A Fantastic day showing today at NMEC Cocker Spaniel Club Championship Show. Quintavia Stop And Stare " Ronnie " was placed 1st in his two classes and declared Best Puppy Dog. After challenging the lovely Best Puppy Bitch he was later declared Best Puppy in Show! Boo and Ribbon were also placed in their classes.

Boo & Ronnie 06/02/10Another great day showing again today at Coventry Cocker Spaniel Club's open show. Our show team, dog's we have bred living in other show homes and dogs sired by our boys all had a great day! The star of the day again was Lawnswae Ribbon who was Reserve Best in Show who was beautifully handled as always by Chelsea. What a great team they make! two girls happy in each others company and both eager to do their best. Well done Chelsea and Ribbon x Quintavia Quantum Leap, Stan attended his first show today in several years and he really enjoyed himself! The judge said he was a credit to us and didn't believe he is nearly 8 years old. She also said he could teach some of the younger dogs about movement which I was thrilled with. Quintavia Illusion at Rosbercon, Sir Quintavia Star Stopper Dam Quintavia Lacey also attended her first show and she was placed 2nd in her class, Well done Sheena and Mica! We took this photo of her after the show, we think she is a beautiful puppy and proves we will place promising puppies in show homes ! We wish Sheena well with Mica. Congratulations to David and Judith with Tiffany who looked beautiful as always! Tiffany was 1st in the special Yearling class and qualified for Crufts 2011 and Phoebe was placed 3rd in her class, Phoebe is Crufts qualified for life after gaining her stud book number in 2009.
