"Love is stronger than death even though it can't stop death from happening, but no matter how hard death tries it can't separate people from love. It can't take away our memories either. In the end, life is stronger than death." Author unknown.

Unfortunately we were unable to attend today's Championship Show, the first show entered for a long time, due to a family crisis... To brighten up a horrible day We were delighted to hear from David and Judith Marsh direct from the show with the great news that Quintavia Sugar Plum at Sayajirao was placed 2nd in Junior and is now qualified for Crufts 2010! Tiffany will now join Phoebe David and Judith's other Quintavia girl at Crufts 2010. Well done to you all, I am so proud of you and your commitment to showing your Quintavia Girls x

Many Thanks to those judges that have encouraged David and Judith.

I came across the following quote the other day whilst sat at the computer after speaking to a friend about a recent encounter she had at a show. No two people will have the same opinion about anything in life and nor should they but unfair and unnecessary criticism hurts... perhaps we should all think a little more about other peoples feelings and treat others how we would like to be treated?

Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? Matthew 7:3

18/06/09

I took this photo of Quintavia Phoebe At Sayajirao at Cheshire show this weekend. Bred by us in 2005 Sired by Quintavia Quantum Leap out of my lovely Wilma. Phoebe was meant to stay with us but as is usually the case we had several show quality/show winning dogs here and we decided to let David and Judith Marsh have Phoebe which was their first Cocker Spaniel. Phoebe welcomed David and Judith's 2nd cocker Quintavia Sugar Palm into her home in 2008 and both girls are very much loved and well cared for by David and Judith.

Phoebe is now qualified for Crufts for life and is very typical of the youngsters Stan (Quintavia Quantum Leap) is siring.

Not really news but I thought I would add some photo's of Stan taken today. Stan has had to take a back seat as far as showing is concerned  for the last couple of years to make way for the youngsters. He is quite happy to stay at home with his best mate Ringo and entertain the odd lady! they have been together since Stan was born when Ringo was 6 months old and they have been best pals ever since sharing their beds and our home and we love them both dearly.

Stan has always had a very profuse coat and we have been working hard to get him back into show trim, there is still a bit more to do and as soon as his coat is ready he will be back in the show ring with the rest of the show team.
