I am very lucky to have been given the opportunities I have with the dogs. Mum trusted me to campaign my own bitch, Alice (Q Starrey Eyed) 4 years ago when I was only 12, after I had lots of experience from junior handling classes. Alice did very well in the ring, winning some big classes at championship shows. Since Alice I have not had my own dog to show, but have handled some of our other dogs at the shows.

In 2006 I became the proud owner of Ribbon (Lawnswae Ribbon) who is the sweetest girl! She has done really well in the ring and always struts about whilst being shown.

I was delighted to be placed 3rd at Crufts with her and hope to enjoy more success in the ring during 2007. Thanks again to Beryl for trusting me with Ribbon, I don’t know what I’d do without her.

Many youngsters are not given the opportunity to own or even handle dogs in breed classes from a young age which is why I am so grateful to mum for letting me handle different dogs at different shows.

I have handled Stan, Peggy, Ribbon and Alice at Crufts and have handled many of our dogs to high awards.
